The rose is my favorite flower because it is beautiful, it has thorns but it is a wonderful creature in nature. It shows me that life is full of good and bad, ups and downs but it is still beautiful. I have learned that in my life that when I think I am down, I think of the rose and how it is so beautiful and although life has its ups and downs..."it's a beautiful life!"

DAY 08: A PICTURE THAT MAKES YOU LAUGH



My husband and I were in Eureka Springs, Ar just being a young newly wed couple on our way back from our honeymoon in Missouri. We stopped in Eureka Springs to stay the night, shop, have fun, sightsee, and just relax. It was the most fun we ever had. The funny thing is my husband could not hold the camera still because I kept chanting bubble, bubble, toil and trouble!!! You would need to know us very well and of course Macbeth to know what we were laughing about...of course the picture says it all! :-)

The most treasured item I have is this picture, it is a small picture that sits on my desk but it reminds me to Oh taste and see that the Lord is good! :-) It reminds me to praise God through the good and the bad times.

This is a picture of my college graduation, it was the best day and the most beloved day in my life. I accomplished a college degree and it was something I had strived and worked very hard to obtain!
It was wonderful to share it with all of my family and friends! :-)

This picture is a picture of my favorite day of course my dog Eboni and I were celebrating her 2nd birthday but hey, a birthday comes once the year right? Lol It was such a fun filled and relaxing day for my husband, my dog Eboni and myself. I would love to have more days like this!

My favorite T.V. show is Girlfriends although it was  cancelled by the CW network, it is to me the best show ever made. I love the characters...Joan, Toni, William, Lynn, and Mya. I would say one of the characters that my personality fits is Joan. I am always taking care of others and thinking of others, the next character is Mya  because I have a tell it like it is attitude, but it seems to come across as Joan more than anything, lol. 
My favorite Mya quote is "Oh hell no!" Lol


I miss this show and I hope that it returns to B.E.T.! :-)

The beautiful woman in the middle is my great grandmother, I used to call her everyday about 2-3 times a day and visit her  twice a week and I would sit and listen to her talk. I loved listening to my great grandmother and I loved her wisdom, when she passed away in 1998, a piece of my heart went with her and I feel like I lost a part of myself. I took her death very hard and I still can't believe she is gone, I know I will see her in heaven one day. I miss you great grandma!

4. I have 2 more courses until I have completed my graduate program!!!
